Susana Botero is a dancer, choreographer, and instructor with a huge passion for the art of dance. She grew up in Colombia and began training at young age at Ballet Folklórico De Antioquia and Elements Danza where she studied Jazz, Ballet, Hip-Hop.
As a freelance dancer/choreographer, and in search of gaining more perspective as an artist, Susana took her very first pole class in 2012 at Pin Up Girls Academy where few years later she started teaching pole dancing, sexy dance, and for the very first time in Colombia Twerking classes developing an original twerking methodology which she taught all around the country.
Susana moved to New York City to pursue her love for dance by participating in Peridance Capezio Center’s Certificate Program (Commercial Track) where she studied Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, Hip-Hop, Heels, Dance Hall, Dance Theater, Acting and Singing with different renowned choreographers, dancers and teachers of the dance industry in the US.
Susana has had the opportunity to perform in many different countries working with such artist as Maluma, Karol G, Farina, Dani Leigh, Jowel & Randy, J Alvarez, Zion & Lennox, BoA, Arcangel, Jhay Cortez, Myke Towers and more, as well as in music videos and television shows. She’s also currently part of Alice Farley Dance Theater, a company that combines Modern Dance, Circus, Sculpture and Puppetry in New York City.
